How to make sense of insights across multiple interviews
Use this when
You have completed interviews in Icanpreneur and want to understand the main patterns, signals, and takeaways across them.
In Icanpreneur
- Open the relevant research in your startup workspace.
- Start in Overview to quickly understand the current state of the research, including the Customer segment, number of interviews, and research type.
- If needed, use Add interviews to expand the research dataset. You can create a new interview, Include existing Interview, Upload an Interview, or Upload multiple Interviews.
- Open Insights to review the synthesized findings across all interviews currently included in the research.
- Read the Insights Summary first to get the big picture before going deeper into individual categories.
- Review the insight categories that matter most to your goal, such as Job-to-be-Done, Triggering Events, Desired Outcome, Solution Search and Evaluation, Experience of Using the Chosen Solution, Actual Outcomes and Future Considerations, and Additional Insights.
- Open the detailed findings inside the categories that seem most important to see the patterns, examples, and supporting evidence behind the summary.
- Compare what the interviews are showing with your current assumptions in the Lean Canvas and Builder.
- Open Quality to review the strengths, gaps, and suggestions for improvement, so you can judge how reliable the results are and how to improve future research.
- Use what you learned to decide whether your current direction is getting stronger, needs refining, or should be explored differently.
