How to uncover why prospects aren't converting
Use this when
You have interest from prospects, but you still do not understand clearly what is blocking them from moving forward.
In Icanpreneur
- Open your startup workspace and go to Research.
- Under Create a new research, choose Analyze won/lost deals.
- In New Win-Loss research, select the Customer Segment you want to understand better.
- In Interview Script, choose an existing script or click Script to analyze won/lost deals to create one with IVA.
- Review the script, language, and research setup before starting.
- Decide whether to use Synthetic validation by keeping Let IVA interview 5 synthetic respondents enabled.
- Click Start research.
- Once interviews are completed, review the results in Overview, Interviews, Insights, and Quality.
- In Insights, start with Insights Summary and then review the categories that matter most, such as Product in Focus, Triggering Events, Desired Outcomes, Solution Evaluation and Comparison, Reasons for Winning/Losing, and Additional Insights.
- Use those findings to see what prospects were trying to achieve, what alternatives they considered, what concerns came up, and what pushed them toward or away from conversion.
- Compare those findings with your current Positioning, Landing Pages, Sales Decks, product direction, and feature set.
- Use what you learned to identify what needs to improve most – for example, your messaging, proof points, offer, targeting, feature set, or product priorities.
